The Office of Accessibility Services

Mission

The mission of the Office of Accessibility Services is to provide academic support services and accommodations for all students enrolled at McNeese State University who have documented disabilities as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

A major responsibility of the department is to offer services such as monitored testing, interpreters, and note-takers for students with disabilities that qualify for these academic adjustments.

Steps to Schedule Proctoring Services for Accessibility:
  1. Ensure Registration: Make sure you are registered with the Office of Accessibility Services before scheduling.
  2. Find Proctoring Services: Click the “Proctoring Services” button to access the online scheduler.
  3. Fill Out the Form: Complete the scheduling form. Important: Indicate that the service is for accessibility services to ensure the proctoring fee is waived.
  4. Plan Ahead: Schedule at least 3 days in advance—the system won’t allow you to confirm a date otherwise.
  5. Follow Testing Center Rules: Only authorized materials are allowed in the testing center.
